Hello & Welcome to my page! I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself to everyone. I’m Sean Cour - the face behind C Shore Travel. I have always loved traveling, even as a young child. It didn't matter how big or small the trip was. As a teenager I fell in love with international travel after spending a summer touring Europe and I've been traveling ever since. From dining at streetside cafes in Paris, taking in the glowing lights of Times Square in NYC, to exploring the exciting canal streets of Amsterdam; I just love seeing the world!
When I’m not helping people plan their perfect getaway, you can find me cooking up something tasty in the kitchen, out in my garden, or curled up with a glass of wine and a good book. In most cases, yes, we do! This is usually how the process works... When booking a trip that is more than 45 days away, a deposit will be due. The amount of the deposit is determined by a number of things like number of travelers, travel dates, purchasing travel insurance, etc. Then at 45 days before travel the remaining balance will be due. However, you can make payments along the way if you would like. This could be a set amount each week/month, or you can pay here & there as needed, until it's paid in full. So even if you're on a budget, that well-needed vacation is still within reach. Please note this is just an average example, and payment due dates are subject to change.
Quite simply it's for your protection and mine. I need to make sure that the card information being provided for your trip is actually your card. It is also very important for me to make sure that I enter your name and birthdate exactly as they appear on your ID/passport. If autocorrect changes even a single letter in your name through text/email, it could cause your trip to be disrupted. Additionally, it allows me to check any expiration dates and make sure that you will not need to renew an ID/passport prior to travel. Many countries require passport validity for 6 months beyond your trip end. Which is why I require copies of IDs/passports for everyone traveling BEFORE booking.
